My Bump & I was created by Lara Watson whilst she was pregnant with her first baby., Grace. Lara says...
"There are so many special moments and experiences that come with being pregnant and I didn't want to forget any of them. I also wanted to be able to sit down with Grace when she's older and tell her all about it. I had so many lovely photos and scan pictures loaded onto my computer, yet was scrapping down notes in a manual book. I needed something that would let me put them both together. There wasn't anything out there so I set about creating it for myself.. Once I had produced my own hardback journal I, very proudly, showed it to friends and soon enough I had a queue of orders and my Bump & I was born"
Along the way the idea has grown and I wanted to add real value to my site whilst Mums used the journal facility so I have teamed up with fellow Mum & good friend Sarah Alderton. Sarah has a vast experience in HR and is highly qualified. Sarah is very passionate about ensuring that Mums & Mums 2 Be know what they are entitled to when it comes to Maternity & Paternity Right. Sarah felt that the info out there was too complicated and she wanted to be able to help. Sarah has provided a simple guide to your maternity rights and has even provided template letters that Mums can use when writing their back to work requests.
M B & I provides membership for a community of Mums & Mums to be where you can create your very own on line journal, update it when you like from where you like. Upload photos and scans and invite friends and family to leave you messages and see how your bump is progressing!
The journals are available in two sizes, 7x7 square and 8x10 portrait and can be created from one of three templates. All journals are produced with premium quality paper as standard to ensure the best finish and are on average around 40 pages (additional pages can be purchased at checkout).
The journals make wonderful keepsakes and also make wonderful gifts for doting Grandparents , Uncles & Aunts.
